For Public Institutions: No! The school pays nothing. Students pay directly for the system access. For Private Schools, students also pay directly. The school only needs to provide devices for staff/teachers in device-included plans.
Yes! The system fee ($25 for public, $50 for private) is paid once per academic year. The one-time device fee ($125 for public, $200 for private) is paid only when a student first accesses the system and never again while at any EffectiveLearning school.
For Private Schools, we install a mini local infrastructure on campus that keeps the school's workflow running even if internet is down. The school is responsible for providing power supply to this infrastructure.
In Plan B for both public and private schools, we provide learning devices for students. Students must return devices at the end of each academic year in very good condition and will receive new ones at the beginning of the next year. The school has full control over devices through our system.
